Lifetime Achievement Award for Rice Blast Research received in the 6th International Rice Blast Conference, August 20-24, 2013 at South Korea. Elected as a Fellow of Indian National Science Academy from January 2002. Elected as a Fellow of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences 2005.
